Food as Medicine
If the client so chooses a portion of my therapeutic process involves placing the client on a customised diet that is mood boosting, obtainable and effective. Nutritional therapy recognizes that what we eat directly impacts our brain chemistry, hormone production, and overall mental state.
Research consistently shows that certain nutrients can significantly improve mood, reduce anxiety, enhance cognitive function, and support overall mental health recovery. By addressing nutritional deficiencies and optimizing dietary patterns, we can create a strong foundation for psychological healing.
